Ummm, that'd be me. Found out about this site from a user over on Stanceworks (csmiths). Some good info on here, hope to see some people on here at meets! Hope Euro's are OK on here...

Edit: Damn, didn't see that a guy two posts below me had the same thread title, whoops.

Don't really know why the rear looks so high in the pictures, sits only about 1/4 inch higher than the front...

Annnd the reason why they're all from the driver's side of the car.

Quick question... Do you really have to pay to post on here?

To get around the "initiation period" yes, you do. If not, you have to have 50 posts and time vested to post in other sections. Some pay and some don't. Just depends on how fast you want to move into other sections. Later, QD.

Yeah I have full 3" turboback exhaust, stage 2 tuning from APR, and an intake... Waiting until the summer to upgrade the fuel pump. B&G RS2 coilovers (adjustable body and perches), and some random interior things like a Pioneer AVIC-D3.

nice! i bet that thing handles like it's on rails with coils...

so, why the need for upgraded fuel pump? are you running out of fuel up top?

Yeah I have fuel cuts every now and then. My tuning company also offers upgraded tuning for an upgraded pump that nets about another 30 hp/tq...

AKA even more wheelspin haha.

wheel spin in front wheel drive cars ftl... though, you could drift it in reverse! :) so, with your existing mods..what kind of power are you putting down at the wheel?

I was pretty disappointed the last time I got dyno'd, it was 104 degrees in the shop and my car put down 231 hp and 280 ft./lbs.

stormcrow
12-10-2009, 09:14 PM
meh, i don't chase numbers..those can be fudged... but, 230whp in that light arsed car has got to be fun! :) torque is where it's at...and looks like you're no slouch in that department...

Yeah it's a fun quick little car. I'm looking at picking up an early 90s sx at some point this summer to get rid of my RWD itch.

Haha thanks man, and I drove an S2000 for a summer and have had a good deal of experience tracking RWD cars. I LOVE RWD.

How well do you know the guys at APR? I have a friend that works on their pit crew.

I don't know any of them personally. I'm originally from Oklahoma but I go to school here, so I got tuned by a shop in Texas. That's cool that you know some guys there though, I went to their BBQ a little while back, good dudes.

Oh, i figured that you would have taken it to the Alabama shop. I've only met a few of them, but they all were really cool.
