Steve, id check riverdale too. theres a shopping center out that way that has a bunch of mechanic shops (my friend has a shop down that way and hes always talking about some shady ass folks down that way.) Its the shopping center before the temple and racetrac on 85.

My other thought, some dumb kids on golf carts drove by. But dang.......nowhere is safe :(

I cant make it 500 feet with an expired tag around here, and having a beer and hitting the road is very near impossible to get away with. It's just surprising..........

I knew it could get stolen but the three cops I spoke to said that on average 1 car a year gets stolen from the city so it is a rare occurance.
And I know the car is gone from PTC and was about the time i called 911.....

I honestly think that Steve was being followed and he didn't notice. They weren't driving a vehicle that was noticeable so they waited until after you were fully in the restaurant before they made their hit. That's fucked up that they got you. I told steve this, i had to go out to henry medical center, and while on the outskirts of fayette/henry county on i think mundys mill rd (its near tara rd not blvd) there was a shop with a white prelude on stockers, no engine, looked like steves bb squad sticker with a tarp on the windshield. Only thing was the exhaust wasnt like steves (looked chromish while his was black.) I wasnt able to get a better look as just pulling in there got stares. I think it was like Ochas auto sales/service?

If i could have looked more I would have but we had to get my moms home from surgery.

I know exactly where that is. It's on a side road that connects Tara Blvd. to Main Street near Tara Gameroom and Billiards. The road is just northbound of Larry's New and Used Tires.

Maybe I'll ride by there on my way home (kind of out of the way but oh well) and see what I can see.

Update, or lack thereof.

I did run by that shop off of Tara and there was no Prelude in the parking lot.

I also rode all the way through now infamous The Tara Mobile Home Park behind Racetrack on Christmas Eve day. Three co-workers and myself went out to lunch and then rode all the way through that maze of trailers. Saw a Prelude, but it wasn't yours unless that painted it horribly and somehow installed rust too.

A buddy called me thursday on the way home from school and says "I found your wheels on craigslist!!!" I look on craigslist and its a picture of the rear wheel and you can see the rear lip I modified and put on (off a 95 accord).
I went to the PTC police dept and spoke to the investigator (Lt. Epps). I showed him the craigslist add and some of my 1500 (no exageration!) pictures. He agreed that they were in fact my wheels and my car. He called the number in the add and told the guy he wanted to buy them for his 16yr old son whose building up a 95 accord. The guy agreed to meet Epps at Publix in PTC yesterday afternoon. I was supposed to be there to ID tghe wheels but Epps called me and said there was no need. The guy outright confessed that they came off my car and he stole my car and where he stole it from.
Epps then interviewed him for several hours. Apparently he and his car theiving buddies heard that PTC was a good place to lift some nice hondas so they drove there from Pike county to scout and see what was there. They pulled into the shopping center near where my car was parked to get something to eat first. They seen my car and sai fuck food- we'll take the car and GTFO!
Now the best part. He told epps that when they steal a car its completely stripped in 24hrs and what's not sold off fairly quickly gets destroyed. So naturally Epps asked why my car was still in one peice. The guy's exact words: "Tell Mr. Pulzone he did an absolutely amazing job on the car." He fell inlove with it on the ride back and wanted to swap vin's and keep the car for himself despite the fact he could've made alot of money quickly with it!!!! The only reason he was selling the wheels almost 4 months later was he needed money badly and figured they could easily be replaced. He was absolutely amazed that he got caught 4 months later from one craigslist add that was up for less than 3hrs before somebody called. lol
