so what is the point of having a bike rack on your civic if you don't have a bike.

there isn't one... But what does it matter. Does it make your light bill go up every time you see a civic with a rack?? Do you get sick more often?
Like I said, it doesn't matter. It's what a person likes.

It's just like the 14" BMW bottle caps, until the trend of putting them on Hondas because of their et25 offset you could barely sell a set in good condition for $100...now they're worth $250+ lol!
