He is still figuring out how to put the extra HP down since the addition of the blower and is slower than he was when it was N/A. I give him another season to figure out the proper suspension/tire changes. 2011 will be his season w/ the blower... not 2010.

Tage Evanson?

I've been looking for more details on this car since I saw it on NWP.

Thanks for the info man :goodjob:

Any place in particular you know of online I could go to check out more on it?

What other cars are in its class and how does it compare? The rear stance is absolutely perfect, the front fender needs to be an inch closer to the tire...i wouldn't lower the car anymore though since it looks to be level.

It's not for looks. It's to get it closer to 50/50 by shifting some weight to the back.

Obviously it's a corner balanced car so changing the ride height isn't an option but remaking the fenders so the wheel well is an inch lower is :taun:

So whats the truth behind Rotas? That red hatch has slipstreams, but I've heard some people say they'll shatter under heavy turning/driving. any real experience?

Why would you do that? So then when he goes to Mid-Ohio or somewhere w/ lots of hills and he wants to similiate more TQ by going bigger overall front diameter now he's scrubbing? The setup is not the same for every track. Leaving it like it is leaves room for changing the fitment/setup up front w/out having to make fender/fascia changes. :goodjob:

You know what I meant fuck head. LOL. Don't make me come over there. I'll fight a girl. LOL:cheers:During the decade of running World Challenge, NASA, and SCCA we never put on different tire sizes from track to track to change final drive simulating a power/torque difference...and always ran symmetrically. With track records from years ago still held today.

We did however have different transmissions for different tracks though which would never effect the handling, only the gear ratios.

personally I think for that wing to really be functional by adding downforce, it should be even with the roof line, not above it

It's not reverse staggered. It's staggered. Staggered doesn't depict which way is "proper" - it just depicts the fact that it's staggered.

Dave Hardy has a very quick EF for sure, but is not anywhere near tag's car. The EF was built for a autocross class called Street Modified (SM). The car has almost all the interior, 2 seats, not much downforce as its to much wait for the speeds they go.

BUT, both cars are running 15x10 fronts with 275/35-15 hoosier A6's. Both are set up VERY well, just one (EF) was a budget build and only has around 200hp, and the other (Tag's) was a full TA build.

As for the rear wing comment...research....its your friend.

The reason for the staggered setup is simple, less weight, fast speeds. No need to have a 275 in the rear as the ass is just pulled around anyways. This is also done to help the car rotate in corners which is needed for a FWD to be fast.

Speaking of staggered setups...my STS autocross car (15x7.5F/15x7R)

Nice find on the vid BABY J. :goodjob:

I caught myself lookin on youtube for some but I guess I must have just spaced out and missed that one lol.

Speaking of staggered setups...

Yeah man I've been wanting to do a stagger setup on my hatch for a hot minute. Something reasonably tame like a 15x8f/7r with a mid 30's et. Been lookin into something in the area of maybe 949 wheels. Good width, offset, weight, and at the price it's a steal. Anyone got any good/bad info on those?

Also... Very cool that there seems to be some actual intelligent discussions in this thread vs. the typical IA bitch-bashing banter. It's quite refreshing.
