I have a 1995 Miata. exintake mod, k&n drop in filter, bosal header with future plans of exhaust. I just bought an OEM Exedy clutch to put in. Should I do lightwieght fidanza flywheel?

definitely do it. i went from stock to a fidanza and it was a huge improvement in virtually every way. then went back to stock flywheel and it is gay.

I also have people tell me no :-p lolol I've heard that a car with as lil power as mine wont like it. lolIt has nothing to do with power, lightweight flywheels increase throttle response and the reduced inertia increases acceleration.

Before anyone says it, you won't lose torque...only inertia so launching and driving will require a little more gas.

so say if I wanted to be dumb and burn some rubber, i'll still be able to do that with my small power output?

I've just heard that with the smaller inertia its harder to break em loose.

I just installed a stage two clutch and a light weight flywheel on my 96 civic hatch (d16 N/A). 10 lbs flywheel. Noticed a day and night difference in the way the car drives!!!! :) Launching will require a little more gas. I also noticed a significant increase in my gas milage (not that i care). its like some one took a big load (weight.... not the other load) off the car....
