ROAD TRIP/ IA-ALL RIDERS WELCOME

I know I'm kinda new and I know its really early, but me and my crew are planning a big road trip to South Carolina and I was wondering who would like to go! Its not gonna be an all out race to our destination, but we will have fun. We are goin to Leave between June 3 and June 6. We will ride out to South Carolina towards Myrtle Beach and make camp (so to speak). Hit up some a couple of places and ride around we will stay for about 3 DAYS. If anybody is interested in coming or wants info post a reply or pm me. We are an up and coming crew that wants to plan something IA can brag about and not regret lol.

Basic Summary cause thats alot to read

NEWER UPDATE EVENTS WE CAN ATTEND

Sun Fun Festival - held during the first week of June, this festival has a number of lively events including a sand castle competition, live music concerts, beach sports competitions, Miss Sun Fun USA pageant, air show, fun run and parade among a number of other attractions.

Summerfest - early June to early September, Barefoot landing comes alive every Monday and Saturday night when the boardwalk fills with vendors and entertainers, with the evening culminating in a firework display.

But the best thing I have found is on June 6th Myrtle Beach Speedway will have round 4 of their championship drifting event

Ok so what I am thinking is that we leave on the 3rd(thursday) or the 4th(Friday) and stay till the 6th
All of these events are taking place inthe same weekend, so i figure we go from top to bottom in the list of event


Friday, the concert has some dj's from atlanta that will be playing there and they will host a street dance. And we can compete in the sand castle contest too lol or at least watch.....

Saturday, they will have artist playing and a fireworks display with some people giving out free food

And Sunday we can go to the Speedway to watch the drift Events

The pack will start from the south and we will make checkpoints from bottom to the top. Everybody in the Atlanta area or somewhere close will meet at the Varsity. I need more input before I chose where the south will meet, but I will help anybody that needs assistance

naaa not quite that long either, more like 5-6 hours depending on how slow.


and if you want some good views of the beach your going to have to get out of your cars and walk, and since you wanna do it around that time of the year i suggest wintercruize which is put on by drop jaw mag, its been going for a decade now and it ALWAYS, LET ME STRESS ALWAYS packed with cars and plenty of entertainment from the drunk stupid people

Your right ok i will find the best route and can you do the honor of finding a place to stay. We are probably going to need about 3 hotels with average prices that will fit everyone's needs because some people want afforable hotels others want to be on the beach, so can you find some places in between. :goodjob:

those are rates givin to me..for per night if im correct, im pretty sure if we book in advance for a bunch of rooms we can most likely get a big group discount

i definatly wanna do a cruise down ocean blvd its a long strip along the beach

Plus everybody who is going needs to list their location so we can set up meeting points for the trip. If we do it right we will basically have checkpoints where one groups meets another until it becomes one large group the first group willl leave from the south and work our way up. Summerfest - early June to early September, Barefoot landing comes alive every Monday and Saturday night when the boardwalk fills with vendors and entertainers, with the evening culminating in a firework display.
But the best thing I have found is on June 6th Myrtle Beach Speedway will have round 4 of their championship drifting event
Ok so what I am thinking is that we leave on the 3rd(thursday) or the 4th(Friday) and stay till the 6th

All of these events are taking place inthe same weekend, so i figure we go from top to bottom in the list of event


Friday, the concert has some dj's from atlanta that will be playing there and they will host a street dance. And we can compete in the sand castle contest too lol or at least watch.....:goodjob:

Saturday, they will have artist playing and a fireworks display with some people giving out free food:cheers:
And Sunday we can go to the Speedway to watch the drift Events:police:


So watcha think all of these event are very close to the resorts/hotels listed the only thing that far is the speedway and its only 15mins. away!!!:bump:
