anyone work there or have worked there before? i have an interview in the morning for a driver helper. yeah its seasonal and by the new year it will be over. my uncle works at ups as a shift leader and been there for over 30 years so hes gonna help me get a job there permanently. i need the benefits also. just wondering if anyone has any complaints or anything from there. i work my ass off so thats not a problem.

from what ive heard UPS is pretty good to its employee's. Even the ones just doing the labor parts and arent' in corporate. So yeah only heard good things except for the stupid people who complain about lifting things..

i have almost 3 years in warehouse exp. so if i get in on the inside im good. lifting things isnt a problem to me. just looking for a decent job with benefits.

i remember working as a driver helper during the holidays one year. Only worked a few hours a day on the same delivery route. IMHO, not worth my time esp. when i needed full time around that time... get your uncle to hook you up...GL

I have seen some billboards around downtown by UPS's workers union saying that they are gonna go on strike or something. I saw one yesterday. Look it up.

if you do a good job, they'll pick you up around the spring season for part time load or unloaders. then you can work your way up. i used to work for them in 04 and my dads been there 30 years.

yeah my uncles been there for 30 years also. ill bust my ass and make a good impression. see where it gets me.
