j99fbodys camaro will smoke a 07 zo6 by over a second, i know this because i was in the car when he made the pass. i watched him build the motor that is currently in the car by hand over several months while the chassis sat out back at his shop. ive seen him pour money and time into the car, not into someone elses shop, and it turn into the monster it is now.

i watched the firebird go from the old pontiac 400/turbo 350 in a worn chassis to the 5.3/t-56 with full suspension, to the 6.0 beast it has now. his firebird will boil the 275's on the back through 3rd gear, and the car will run 70mph at 17k rpm or so.

the interiors in both cars were also done by jeff, and are show quality installs. both cars have stereo systems and can both be driven on the street.

long story short, ive know this guy for a long time, and he doesnt do shit work. his cars are very nice and deserve to be respected. its not a matter of domestic vs import, dragstrip timeslips, or whatever. its just some cocky asshole who thinks hes better than someone else and has been running his mouth for years because hes scared to admit that his own car isnt as good as someone elses.
