so im on my way to my mother in laws.. just left kroger, had my wife and our 2 dogs in the car when i see a s55 in the distance. passed him doing the speed limit, looked over and it was an older guy with a younger blond in the passenger seat. he wasn't paying any attention so i just kept on going. at the next light, we both got stopped and were sitting side by side with open road ahead of us. I didn't think he was gonna play until i saw him inching and inching waiting for the light to turn green. so i put it in 1st and wait. he is now sitting about 1 full car in front of me and the light still hasn't turned green. i start to slowly inch forward and then it happens, he guns it and i follow suit. side by side through 1st, shift into second and start to spin and pull at the same time. by the end of 2nd i was about 1 1/2 cars in front as i shift to 3rd and continue to pull, it was all over.

it was pretty cool that an old man was trying to test me, but he had no love for the IS. as he passed me i looked over to give him a thumbs up and he just looked the other way. oh well... 1 down lol

You just gotta know when, where, and how to do it ;) Speaking of bike on sugarloaf, I did 150 on sugarloaf took a curve at 120 turned into my neighborhood, entered, waited on a friend to get in and a gwinnett cop slowly rolls by me LOL. I know he saw my but couldn't do anything because by that time I was on private property. :D

got me another one. on the way to our friends wedding last night. we were traveling down 85 at a decent pace since we were running a little late. i see a 335 coupe with some wide tires and looked like an exhaust in the fast lane. im one lane to the right of him with no one in front of me or him. for no reason, he switches lanes and gets right in front of me. so naturally, i move over to the fast lane to keep my momentum. as im about to pass him, i notice he starts to pace me. knowing that i am already late, theres no time to slow down, so i just downshift one time to see if he really wants to play. he was definitely waiting for it as i start to accelerate he was ready to go. side by side for a second as i pull a carlength in 3rd and another in 4th.. we approached a turn so i let off and slowed back down to around 80... from that point on, i continued my high paced trip to the biltmore. he kept dodging in and out of traffic to keep up, but at this point, i wasn't racing, just speeding. maybe 10 minutes later, he was right next to me again still cutting in and out of traffic. my girl noticed him, laughed, and asked, is he still trying to race us? lol. it was a funny moment nevertheless. i managed to get to the hotel in a total of 23 minutes from my house. thought we made it in time, but then we drove around the damn parking garage for another 20 minutes looking for a space... damn ga vs tech. lol

luckily for us, the wedding started late so we got there just in the nick of time.

for real though, i enjoy my car whenever and where ever i can. i have also lost to 2 cars. one belongs to my tech, chris, who has an 85 supra with a 7m-gte. he pulled about 1 1/2 cars on me. and also to sonny's evo. he pulled a car and then i started to pull it back but then i started to misfire and had to let off. nevertheless, its still a loss. lol

mmm sugarloaf parkway thats my area son!! haha i love the 85 off ramp to the gigantic 180 degree turn i always floor it there and than on the hill right after the kroger....mmmm the cops always sit in the office buildings but weve gotten pretty pro at seeing them....why do i never see any buddy that wants to have fun going to sugarloaf...only guy who ever wanted to pull was in a s2k and i dont think he was modd'd that much but it wasnt much of a race turns out volvos go fast down hills..who knew
