to dont think any cutting or welding will be needed but what do i know

An easy fix bro or you could just trade me ;)
chain around core support, other end around tree, slam car in reverse, bounce off rev limiter and dump clutch. Gently tap over extended core support back into desired place with a mallet. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used a chain on a big C4500 and pulled with the truck in reverse so I could see. Works every time.
