I need help recovering a folder of photos i deleted and id prefer to do it without buying a recovery program so please help me!! Reps will be given for help

Can't you like reboot the computer to a past update and recover everything? Just taking a shot in the dark.

You can but it said that it will not affect photos or emails and shit like that?
