Go to the courthouse in the county you live in and go to the office of the Probate Court (same place you get marriage license) and they'll give you all the details. Cost is usually around $60. Later, QD.

thanks guys for the info,i might consider a light weight rifle aswell. if i can find a gun safe or lock for the trigger, for one since i have my little man.

that way they arent easily accessible for when someone breaks in and you need quick access. get your gfl and keep the gun on you. when you go to sleep, keep it near your bed and close your bedroom door so the kid cant sneak past you and get it. a gun is useless if its locked up and you cant get to it immediately.
