**Car is no longer for sale**
I've decided to sell my '05 Evo MR and move on to something else although I am in no rush to sell nor do I need to.
Mechanical:
The car currently has ~46k miles on it and since it's my daily driver, the mileage will increase. This turns out to be ~11,500 miles/annually which is below the national average of 15-20k miles. The car runs great with no hesitation. I recently changed the oil with Mobil 1 using an OEM filter maybe 1500 miles ago. During the most recent oil change, I accidentally ripped the oil temp sensor which can be replaced for ~$15 at the dealership. The clutch grabs strong with no signs of slippage and I must state that I have NEVER launched the car. The 6-spd transmission shifts smooth with no grinding or signs of worn syncros. This car has not been ragged on like most of the Evo's on the road today. The car still has the factory tune and is set at the factory boost level.
Exterior:
The color is Wicked White. The body is in great shape with no dents, dings or scratches. The headlights, taillights and rear spoiler has been updated to the IX model. I have shaved the emblems off the rear trunk to give the car a cleaner look. The car still has the factory BBS wheels wrapped in Nitto 555 Extreme tires. The car has never been wrecked which is shown via CarFax. This was one of my biggest concerns when searching for an Evo.
Interior:
The factory black/blue Recaro interior is in good shape with no signs of wear and tear. The only minor wear signs I can point out is the driver side floor mat. To help preserve the carpet, I have applied the same plastic that is found in new vehicles at the dealerships. Everything electrical works except the oil temp gauge as a result of the messed up oil temp sensor which I had mentioned above.
