Gauging interest in possibly unloading my JL 500/5 amp and my JL 10w6v2 sub. The sub is in a rather expensive custom built transmission-line box that makes it sound 50000% better than an off-the-shelf bandpass or sealed box. With just a few hundred watts that sub easily booms and pounds as hard as a couple 12's with twice the power.

The amp and sub are both in pristine working condition, the amp has a couple of small scuffs on it, what you would expect from an amp sitting in your trunk for a couple of years. The subwoofer and enclosure are immaculate in every way.

The box was built to fit in my old 2000 Civic Si, so if your trunk is even remotely the same dimensions, it should go in fine.

Any reasonable offers will be considered. Use the following paragraph as a guideline.. obviously I don't expect the same, as these are used... but just so you don't have to do your own research.

On ebay, a new 10w6v2 runs $250-275 after shipping, the cheapest JL 500/5 I could find was $600 after shipping, and the box cost me $225 to have designed and fabricated.

It's enormous, and very heavy, because of the offset alternating slats and whatnot that make it what it is. :)

But man, was it worth it.

I know exactly what they are, they are usually only used in a home application where they can build a box that is 30 cubic feet and has a single 8 in it that hits like 2 15's and reproduces every frequency it is sent with aboslute perfection.

Good luck with the sale. :)

I seriously doubt it's 30 cubic feet, but the concept is the same. :D

Slight exagerartion, the box I designed for a single 15 was though.. I never built it for fear i could never move it lol.

Well good, then you can tell all these people how freaking awesome a JL 10w6v2 would sound in an enclosure like this, so they will buy it. :)
