Sadly enough it still isnt dynoed, only even half tuned. Need someone to drive while I tune, or vice versa. Do love Nistune though still developing but the best alternative for me. Conservative I'd say its close to 300hp/320tq, need a better boost conroller to go past where I am at now. All with a engine with 145k on it.

Old dyno when I was at 10psi and stock fuel. Lots of things have changed since then, should be good for 450ish with this setup once the boost goes higher.

true that do like the 86's. so far I have had 85tauto,86tauto,87na5speed, and have two of the 88SS cars right now. They arent hard to find for the low if you really wanted another. I will rock the z31 forever most likely, goin on 11 years so far lol.

yea man. I picked mine up for 1200. 86 2+2 5spd. GLL (digital dash)
everything worked on her too. Really clean. Had headers too :D
man that car got me in some epic trouble :( I'll own another some day. Just when i can afford one. Ill hopefully be starting my 280z project soon.

Thanks man. Not tryin to steal spotlight from the OP though.
I dont know many people into Z31s. Everybody i talked to when i had mine said they were terrible lolol. but of all the Z cars i have driven, they are my fav. Hopefully i can pick up this 280z i had my eye on and show the west coasters how we do it ATL style.

I love that they talk to you "key is in the ignition" , i had an 86 200sx that did that too. i love that.

the interior of the z31 is great, it's all 80's hi tech looking, like a mini night rider i love it.

digital dash cars are better IMO. I hate the orange clusters in the cars. You can pick them up cheap though. The coolest part of the Z31 is all the little gadgets that come with

I have alot of respect for these cars, simply since I have the drivetrain out of one. And all the options for these motors are endless it seems.

3.3 head swap
3.3 head swap with supercharger
cams, headers, and pathfinder intake will give a good 20+hp

yeah lots of options out there, just no real aftermarket. you can get the simple things but alot of it is DIY.

not too long ago, a guy in texas sold a 10th A/E Black Gold 280zx with 92 original miles.
thats not a typo, NINETY TWO original miles. gorgeous car.

^^ that just amazes me! If i had either one of those cars, there is no way that i would be able to keep from driving it.

The car feels like a space ship inside with all the digital stuff on the dash. I start the 50th anniversary Z everytime i go over there just to keep it nice and charged. I love the sound of that car!
