maybe craigslist doesn't allow you to post your phone number? (i dunno i dont ever use craigslist).. so he had to spell it out... its either genius.. or retarded..

i didn't know why til i posted an ad one day and had my phone number in it.

when you post an ad, if someone searches for your number on google, then the ad will come up.

In my case, I was applying to jobs, and wanted to see what perspective employers could find out about me through google. Several ads I had on Craigslist showed up.

sooooooooo if you spell it out, or use combinations of numbers/spelling words out, then it wont come up in a google search!:goodjob:

Also you get a lot of calls from scammers when you post your number regularly...pre-recorded messages, etc.
