Ok sorry if this has been covered or if its in the wrong section. Ok on to my question. I have an 02 model type s cluster, kpro, and a 00 ex w/ k20a2 swap. All of the wiring is pretty straight forward other than the multiplex wire issue. Now while on kmanager I've noticed the option to turn on or off the multiplex wire. Anyone who has researched this will know the issue with wiring this cluster is the coolant temp reads through this multiplex wire. Would wiring the coolant temp gauge in the cluster be as simple as running the multiplex wire from the ecu to the cluster and turning the function on in kpro or is there more to it ?

you can possibly keep your existing cluster. there are adapter control units available. i think they are availalble through hybrid racing.

the temperature gauge in an 02-04 cluster gets it's signal from the [RS232-Arinc429 serial data converter] unit (strangely enough) that's located directly underneath the dashboard in an RSX - not the ecu. You'd need to source one of these if you wanted it to work.

Or you could retro your current gauge into it, while fitting the needle on the end of the movement.
