That video link shows he has a loud system, true. And hearing it live instead of off a digital camera video would probably be better, but the bass needs to be evened out with the rest because every time it hits, everything else just completely gets destroyed. Just my opinion, but all in all, it sounds terrible. And I'm not basing that off of his rap track choices. I could have him put an old school bass CD I have and love and it wouldn't sound any better.

that why havent ever posted any video's of my system. even with my HD 1080 D90 video i tried....and was amazed how terrible it sounded :lmfao:

it sounds pretty decent in person, the lows dont over take the mids and highs at all when your in the truck or outside the truck but the video i took sitting in the drivers seat just sounded like muffled bass :(

im with ya though, i like my systems to hit hard yet be clear and sound good.

The first link posted, there was ungodly amounts of distortion with the bass hits. And it wasn't camera related. I do know the difference. When the bass drowns out the music/lyrics and turns them into static, that's distortion. I had my first stereo in a car 4 years before you were born, man, so I'm not new to it. Later, QD.

I didn't divert from anything. I've never worked at a stereo shop. But I've been good friends with many stereo shop people (from Conyers to Atlanta and elsewhere) and had been around the stuff (not lately though) for years. So I don't have certifiable credentials, but I have what I know and I have my opinion on what I think something sounds like. You posted it up, not me, man. I was seriously not trying to diss you (I even said it in my post that I wasn't trying to be mean), I was just saying that I don't care for all bass, no music systems.

Sounds like you can't take anything. Just because, to you, we don't know what we're talking about, doesn't mean we don't have our own opinions. We know what the hell we're talking about, we know what sounds nice to us. We may have been doing his for a long time, I know QD has. Sure, I've only been in it for about 6 years, but I know what sounds decent.

That award you won, was it based on decibels? How annoyingly loud it was? Sure. You can win an award for that. However, if you decide to turn your head unit about the awesome number "3", and I can't hear any treble, or make out anything but earth shattering BASSBASSBASS, and ruined mids and highs? It sounds like absolute trash.
