How do you upload HD videos on Youtube?

I've read a few tutorials, watched videos on how to do it, but I just can't get it to work. Basically, I've been recording me playing games on my computer with Fraps, and I want them to have the same quality while being watched on Youtube.

I convert them to MP4, make sure the bitrate is high as possible, resolution is 1280x720...

What am I doing wrong?

Is there any freeware out there that can do this properly?

it'll upload a low quality movie first, and then convert it to hd shortly after, you aren't doing anything wrong if you have an hd file uploaded, just doesn't appear so at first.

I've deleted and uploaded the same video like 5 times now lol.

I'll give that a shot. Any idea how long that takes?

Ah! I got it!

The only thing I need to correct is the size.

I have is set at 1280x720, but I recorded the video in half size instead of full size.
