Theres this one place right off Broad St. in/near 5-points. I always used to go there between classes, and the place is pretty straight. Don't go around lunch time, unless you like standing in line for food. (Pet Peeve of mine)

Nam is more about presentation than taste, they appeal to a different crowd than your typical "pho eater".

Best bang for the buck is DL no doubt though.

I hope that place lasts long, they need a bigger menu with different varieties once in awhile. The pho is tamadas but everything else doesn't make you full unless you eat it with alot of rice. The pad thai should be served bigger then that but nonetheless I will eat there whenever I get the chance. Support the hmong!!

The pho there sucks! But anyway, should've ate the roach. The boiling pho broth killed all the germs + gave it some flavor :goodjob:

WTPho?- is the first place I tried (w8, BLKJDM, what was the name of that K-Spec spot across the street from GPNissan?)

Pho Bac - Chamblee (Buford Hwy)

Pho #1 - Chamblee (Buford Hwy)

like someone else said..a pho dish IS NOT complete w/o spring rolls and Pho Bac has these ON LOCK as far as I'm concerned.

You believe you are not of Asian decent because if you were then you definitely would not put What the Pho? as your first place.

lol...so you "called me out"?!?!?

What does eating Pho have to do with being of Asian heritage? If the shit is good then the shit is good...I WILL say that I have rarely had a BAD bowl of Pho tho. So someone recommend where I could go eat that the "real Asians" go to get their Pho...

There really isn't a best place, but the three that tops the list are: Dai Loi in Forest Park, Pho Bac on Buford Hwy, and Thien Phat in Gwinett. These are probably 3/5 stars. The rest of the 321844 pho places in Ga are shit. And yes I've been to all of them. And yes i am the kind of nicka that know his pho :blah:

btw pho is made with spices such as cinnamon sticks, cloves, coriander pods, star anise, cardamom, and fennel in a mesh bag, w/ bone marrow, ginger, and onions boiled for 6+ hrs as broth. served in bowl w/ rice noodles, w/ broth w/ added meats to preference, garnished with various greens! perfect for hang overs and cold wet days...
