Best and cheapest way is to make a trip to Home Depot. If you are doing cedar planks you can get some stock fence post and have them cut it if needed. I had a party this summer and there was no way I was buying 20 of the packaged ones. $8/two pack would have meant $80 just to cook on something and throw it away. I made a trip to HD and got a 12 foot board for like $20 and went home and cut it down into 6 inch sections. The cedar they have is untreated so no reason to worry about a bunch of chemicals ruining the taste of your food or your insides. Now if you want alder or maple planks you will probably come out better buying them from the store.
umm good point...wish i got more a costco....6planks for 3bucks!!!!!!!!
