so oil is in the number 3 runner of my mani(valve seal)or something....anyway oil is all inside of the compressor side and exhaust side of the turbo...i just wanna make sure that the turbo is ok and the seals are ok is there anyway to check without takin it apart.

by the way this wasnt on my,this was purchased and wanna make sure the turbo is good before its used

sounds like seals are gone. but dont take my word for it. have a pro check it out.

im just thinking it could be the oil from blowin the valve seal and not the turbo....cause the oil was coming out of the exhaust port...into the mani thus into the turbo

prolly need to get a catch can specially if your motors making some blow by....

Sounds like the turbo seals.

if the oil is in runner #3 then it's probably not turbo seal, but #3 piston is gone. if turbo seals were gone then you would have oil in chargepipes and/or hella oil/smoke in exhaust pipe, but not just in one runner.

compression test it.

yea the motor is basically fried and the only visible oil was in the #3 and inside the compressor side/hotside and the begining of the downpipe and the begining of the compressor charge pipe.

sounds like both #3 dead and bad turbo seals. bad seals dropping oil into chargepipes and cylinders changes afr and octane rating=detonation which probably hurt the engine if it was tuned.
