Skream is sick. Dub step/glitch ftw:goodjob:
If you're not the kind of guy who needs to blare loud music out his car windows to feel like a man, you may dig the Silversun Pickups. It's really loud guitars with super poppy vocals. I wouldnt be surprised if they end up making it huge on the radio over the next year or two, they remind me of a modern day Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins.

Or if you're feeling some straight up Jersey rocknroll a la Bruce Springsteen, check the Gaslight Anthem. They're nothing new but they've been gaining steam steadily over the last year or two. I'm really upset that I missed them opening for Murder By Death last month.

Or if you're feeling something really out there and experimental check out Battles. I dont really know how to describe their sound, extremely metal drums (their drummer was in the original lineup of Helmet back in the 90s) and tight musicianship mixed with really wierd sound production and effects. This song gets in your head and you'll probably find yourself humming the beat for the rest of the day. The vid is a shortened version of the song, the album version is 7 minutes long.

And the Star Fucking Hipsters just came out with a new album, I havent had a chance to check it out yet but here's the single off their last record. This is a side project from the Leftover Crack clan (Choking Victim, Crack Rock Steady 7, others). These guys are one of the punkest bands on the scene right now, LOC was the most offensive, these guys just make good fun punk rock.

And I guess for what its worth you may want to check out Judi Chicago since they're one of the hottest bands in Atlanta right now. It's not my favorite but they put on a hell of a show. Think 80s acid-house dance rock.

There has been a LOT of fantastic rock bands coming out lately. Throwbacks to when music was good! If you are into classic rock check out:
Charm City Devils
Airbourne
If you are into southern rock at all, these guys are like a cross between Drowning Pool, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Kentucky Headhunters:
Black Stone Cherry
This is all I have been listening to lately, very good music if you are looking for some new good rock bands that sound nothing like the garbage on the radio.
