The Hobbit

Maybe im late on this but there is gonna be a new The Hobbit. It will be in 2 parts and there is talk of a 3rd movie to breach the gap between Blbo's journey and the begining of The Fellowship of the Rings.

Does anyone on here like LOTR or is it just me? I hate when people are like this is gay but like sci fi star trek and shit.

The Hobbit would be a great movie. I really wouldnt mind if they branched out of the books and made a movie not booked case after they do these.

Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro are collaborating for two prequels to LOTR based on The Hobbit, so they should be good. Both are slated to be released in 2011 and 2012, respectively. I haven't heard of a third installment, though.
