2ohm dvc sub help?

need to know how to run to wire this sub so it stays 2 ohm the diagrams i have only show 4ohm and 1ohm my amp is not 1ohm stable only 2 ohm,how do i connect each coil so i dont cook my amp,i dont wanna run it in 4 ohm that sucks haha

if your sub is dual 2 ohm then you can only wire the sub to run 1 ohm or 4 ohm. or run a 2 ch amp on each coil. thats about it.

shit! i bought the wrong sub hahaha dammit to hell. my amp is 2 ohm and a single channel with 2 out puts can i still hook it up this way ? or sell it and buy the dual 4 ohm sub?

depends your amp is stable down to 2 ohms. so that means at 2 ohms the sub is going to put out its max amount of power and at 4ohms it will run at usually half that power maybe a bit more. the ideal thing to do is to either get a dual 4 ohm sub so you can wire it to be 2 ohms or get a amp that is stable at 1 ohm. for now you can run it at 4 ohms wich will be the most efficient but also a lot more quiet then running it at 2 ohms or 1

i will give it a shot, i have the sub wired now at 4ohm and its way underpowered it sounds clean and crisp but it dont hammer the way i know it should ,my amp makes the most power at 2 ohm. i sould have paid more attention but you live and you learn .......
