I was thinking about picking it up, i dont really play RPG but this one looked pretty cool. Im about to beat MW2 and im going to be out of town in DC for a week pretty much by myself so i wanted a game i could play for a long time.

Anyone have it? reviews?

I haven't tried it yet myself, but my best friend got it and said it's great. I think I'll be picking it up in the next week or two.

I downloaded it last week. Pretty good so far. I've only played 1 of the 6 or 7 different "origins", and I still haven't beaten the one I'm on, so the game seems to be pretty big with lots of replay value. Pretty fun game tho, similar to Mass Effect.

I may pick it up soon. Made by BioWare so it has to be good. Mass Effect and Knights of the Old Republic are some examples.

The gameplay itself is fairly generic, with skill/talent trees, etc..

One of the ways the game separates itself is with the Tactics system that allows you to configure each of your 4-total controllable characters for different tactics ranging from "Attack Nearest Enemy" to "Defend Currently Controlled Character" or "At Enemy Health < 75% Use Shield Bash"

It lets you basically configure each of your 4 total on-screen characters based on their strengths/weaknesses.

Example. My character is a Rogue, so I have Alistair, one of my party members equipped with a sword/shield, and I have him:

Attack Enemy > Attacking Controlled Character > Activate "Threaten"

So that he takes away my threat, and I can continue to attack from behind.

I like that aspect of the game, and I DEFINITELY enjoy the controllable storyline aspect of the game.

Example: If you are like "blah blah blah...*click click click*" through cut-scenes, you could potentially be missing out huge by just clicking "NOTHX, STFU, BAI"

Prisoner: "They put me in jail. I'm so hungry...Do you have any food?"
Me: "No, sorry. Why are you in jail?"
Prisoner: "Blah blah blah...So, will you give me food? If you do, I'll give you a key to a chest with items in it.."
Me: "You have no pockets, and the guards searched you. Where is this key?"
Prisoner: "I ate it. So, give me some food and 10 silver, and I'll....'give' it to you."
Me: "...How about I just kill you and take it?"
Prisoner: "Oh noooohhhhzzz!!!"

*stab....grabs key from stomach*

Guard: "Hey, WTF, why did you kill that prisoner?"
Me: "He lunged at me...I was defending myself."
Guard: "Works for me!"

I LOL'd hardcore when this happened.

hahaha...

Overall, it's a fun RPG. Nothing revolutionary, but if you enjoy the Mass Effect conversation system, and the replay value, it's a good buy.

I recommend buy it for PC first, then PS3 if you have one, then XBOX 360 lsat....Graphics are notically worse on the 360. I wish I had known that before I bought it for 360..
