I have been good, I have been busy with the new job as of late and my posting on any forum seems to be down. I had asked about the meet because I seem to always have Tuesdays off now. I just wish I had a car worth taking to a meet. :(
I may make it out to the one on Nov 24th if it will still happen. Me and my wife should find out the sex of the baby and I'll be on cloud nine that day. Eating some pizza and hanging out would just cap off a good night.
As for gadsm, I'll just say there are some awesome people there. But there's also alot of douche bags also. To me the quality of the people on that site has gone way down in the last 8 years I was on the forum. If your going there to just make friends and hangout. You're better served staying on IA. But if your going there to find info about your car or sell parts and what not. Then go full speed ahead. Even though I will warn people that the economy has affected alot of people on that site and selling stuff on there isn't as easy as it was in the past.
edit- Btw Motivation I need to spread around some more reps before I can rep you again. 'o]~

I am driving my busted up white coupe at the moment, it don't matter what you drive. You can always come chill out at the meet with everyone and hang out. Who cares. It's like a DSM meet... when I went, it was you, Larry, and me that were actually in DSMs. Everyone else wasn't. It's just to have fun.
That's awesome about the baby, we'll still be having the meet that night. Glad the job has been going well for you, man. I know you been looking for a while
Also, about the economy situation, while it may be harder to sell things, it is also easier to find good deals.

Welcome imprtguy94.
Don't listen to Koi. Gadsm is a good site with good people for the DSM scene. We have a meet on the first Saturday of every month. For the Nov meet we had a cookout at stone mtn. The Dec meet will be at Taco mac. Check the board out for details. GADSM.org also hosts the bi-annual Import Showdown. Which is one of the largest races in our region for imports. I have a 2G by the way.

It just seems that lately a lot of people have let their egos fly. I may have just read into it wrong in some threads. But seems to be a lot of bashing on people that want to do something and instead of constructive criticism it seems like it gets turned into calling the person an idiot and everything else. It's only a few people from what I see. And hell, I might just be reading it wrong. But it's definitely not everyone. But, nonetheless, I definitely have respect for a lot of the guys over on the site. Chris (lordzed), Chris D, Mike (Scrapy), you, and a lot of the other guys.

With any forum, there's always going to be people that don't agree and bashing. Comparitively, I'd say there's alot less bashing over there than most other forums. There's not any of that on IA

Oh no, I definitely agree with that. Don't get me wrong, Mike. As for IA, I have slacked off on coming on here, as well. The only reason I still do is because of how big the site is, I can stay in certain areas that it isn't as concentrated in. But you are definitely right, Mike.

Yeah, Let's not listen to Koi. Screw the fact that I was on the site for 8-9 years. Also screw the fact I always came to bat for many of you on there. Hell, That front bumper and fenders on your car were only painted by hue after I had told him you were cool and weren't going to waste his fucking time like so many other flaky GADSM members. Hell, I bet you have no clue I helped prep that shit on your car to be painted do you? Are the fact that my wife and me have done stuff to help gadsm out more times then you can count. But your right mike, You guys can keep going to your gadsm meets with maybe 8-9 people show up and only have two cars with peeling paint and rust that are ready to break down at any second among the lot of you.
But I'm cool with it, Keep drinking that kool-aid for gadsm. Because god knows I did for years on many different forums only to try and be owned and mocked by the same members I have been more then nice to on many different occasions.
Edit- Your right that IA and many other sites have people bashing and ego driven posters. But let's be honest. There is a difference between gadsm and IA. One only has 30 active postsers at any given time with maybe 5-10 being douchebags. On IA you atleast have 1-2K active posters at any one time and can afford to have 5-10 people being a douche. Not to mention it gets kind of annoying wondering if people are even going to show up to that monthly meet.

You know mike, I think your a awesome person and a good hearted one at that. But that was weak man.
As for it being a welcome thread. I asked what else he had done to his car. That is my way of showing interest in his car and himself. So my welcome was along time ago. But let's all be honest here. Us dsm'ers aren't cut from the same mold as everyone else. Even the nice dsm'ers are douchebags. Can't really blame us. We do drive crank walking whores that are ready to break down at any second.:lmfao:

Weak eh? So, you're just trying to start an argument aren't you? This is the type of shit that makes everybody get annoyed by you. I'm not going to fall for your childish trap.
If you build your car from junkyard parts then don't whine that its not reliable. If you want to directly associate yourself as a douchebag, go right ahead. I personally take pride in my car. Your mentallity is exactly why DSM'ers have a bad image. We need a new posterboy ,not someone who embraces failure.
I give you A+ for effort make. But your still falling short. I have never built any junk yard car. Just call up Vonrok and ask him the quality of new parts I gave him for free when I sold him the car. The same could be said about many other dsm'ers I have sold stuff to. Truth be told, That shit you brought in for us to paint wasn't even close to junk yard level. It was better suited to be thrown in the trash.
If we really want to get on the talk of reliable. I still beat you there. You may have a 8.8 second car. But that thing seems to break down every other track run man. Atleast I could say with out doubt that I drove my car from conyers to norcross every day in rush hour traffic in the morning and evenings with out issue. Hell, I even drove it out of state a few times. I'm sure yours is as reliable as that trailer can carry it.

Koi the shit I brought Hue to paint was brand new dipshit. I never even delt with you. I delt directly with Hue and paid Hue directly so quit acting like you played some big part in the development of my car. If you prepped it for Hue, then good for you. Hope he gave you a cut. I didn't built a fucking street car. Of course parts break when you put 5 times the intended power to them. What kind of weak comment is that? I can't believe you'd even try to make an ignorant comparison between our two cars as if they were intended for the same purpose. I cant believe I even welcomed you into my home just so you could bitch and whine about the people that offered you their hospitality at a later date. You are a sorry human being. I'm done playing with you.

Im sorry Koi, you're right. I mean, those bumpers and fenders must have been scavenged from a junk yard and sold to me as brand new. I'm just an idiot. And look at my car, the bumpers and fenders look like complete shit, and have obviously affected the reliability of my cars performance. You are so right Koi, I'm sorry I ever tried to get this DSM'r, imprtguy94, to disregard your commemt and get him to come to the gadsm board. No DSM should ever go to a DSM website, especially a local one. What the fuck was I thinking? Keep on keepin' on brother, you're my hero. I'm sorry to have ever wasted your time.
Imprtguy94....sorry about this. Im just as much at fault for jacking your thread as Mr Koi is even though my intent was to not let it happen.

Yay! I can bump! Mike, YOU KNOW DAMN WELL those parts you took to Hue to paint were garbage. Hue touched them with his magic paint hands and that shit turned to gold. DUH. Damn I miss Hue being able to do side work, he is one of the best painters around, and he loved doing side work for cost of materials plus beer lol. He painted a door on my E36 for cost of materials and a 6 pack. I bought him two six packs because his work was so good lol.
Koi, you know I agree with you on a lot of levels bud, but you have got to let stuff go man. You and I were both in at more than just the average member level at GADSM. I used to hang out with Paul, Holly and Walker on a weekly basis, and we both volunteered at numerous IS's. When you are around the people that much, of course they are going to pick at you more. You are on a more personal level with them at that point. The site has for sure gone down hill, but it is the same with any forum, people come and go. There are still lots of valuable members on GADSM, like Mike (gastroker). The argument that I had with Wookie when mods were being elected was huge, you know that. While it did slow me down posting, it didnt stop me. You gotta have thick skin on any forum, its just the nature of the beast man. One online argument isnt going to push me away from 3 and a half years of a good time.
And to the OP, welcome to IA. To answer the question before you ask it, yes it is always this drama filled lol. The car is clean, did you get it from Fam0u5 off this board? It looks very familiar, and he had a red 94 with gold wheels for sale a short time ago. I would recommend signing up for GADSM. Just dont be a dumb noob, dont post whore, and use half ass proper grammar and you will be welcomed there. If you ask for help, be prepared for some constructive criticism. Dont bash the person who gives it to you though. Take it with a grain of salt and move on.
Watch out for that GASTROKER guy though, his car is slow and he is a true dickhead :goodjob:

Not trying to burst your bubble, but unless someone did a swap, the 92.5 and later came with a 7 bolt. The 1g 7 bolts are not as prone to crankwalk though.
Crankwalk is a rare occurrence, even in 2g's. People dread it, but it really is not as common as people make it seem.
