and i'm kinda thinking of redoing my whole brake system brand new all the way down to the booster and master cylinder....so yesterday i finally was able to replace my rear calipers...bled them properly until there was a steady stream coming out of them, the pedal was hard prior to starting the car up. i go to test drive it and damnit if the pedal doesnt go almost all the way down:thinking::thinking:

wtf gives? i mean should i be bleeding all four corners since i replaced the rear calipers?

a little background as well i have been riding around w/ my calipers leaking for about a little over a week, having to constantly pop my hood, fill up the brake fluid, and the two days before i parked it, i was to the point to where i had to pump my brakes to get feeling, but then the pedal would slowly go down to the floor. i dont know if that has anything to do w/ my brakes going down so far now, but whats recommended? bleed all four? or should i just do as i'm thinking?!? any help is appreciated.

My Ej had the same problem when I got it the brake pedal would slowly got to the floor. I bled all 4 corners and filled with new fluid. Problem solved at least in my case it was.

1) Is it losing ANY fluid?

2) Was the entire system, all four wheels, bled starting at the furthest point from the master cylinder?

x5 Not to beat it to death, but yeah bleed all four corners(RR-LR-RF-LF). If it still goes to the floor, replace the master cylinder.

tru bleed all four...use a whole new bottle since your already going thru the motion. New fluid in the system feels very strong...
