Just follow the fastest car a couple car lengths back. Or better yet leave early and do the speed limit.

Most of the time i see them on the side of the road, although there has been a couple of incidents of where they have actually been driving as well. Just keep a sharp eye out...:goodjob:

I don't think this thread is going to go how you want it to.

Predictions:
"It's never "safe" to speed"
"If you don't speed, you don't need to know where the cops are."

Sorry man, good luck with this.

Having traveled that expanse of roads a hundred times or more in the last two years, I'm quite familiar with the area. And I can say that there is no consistent time or place that you'll see them. In fact, every time I went last summer, I never saw one. The speed limit throughout most of that run is 65 mph. You can safely drive 70 without being pulled over. Why go faster than that and take the chance. Seventy miles an hour is not that slow. Later, QD.

Not on 75 North or South there isn't. There's not even any on 24 East or West. I drive a tractor trailer up through there at least once a week for the last two years so I would definitely know if there were any. You won't hit up any mountainous areas until just South of Cleveland, TN. And even then, you're only at it for about 4-5 miles. Later, QD.

I just know you can go about 80mph until you get pass the state line into Tenn. Then might wanna slow down.My girl scared the shit out of me when I was sleep and she went from 95mph to like 65mph after seeing three white tahoes with off road equipment.Lol Tenn. and AL. ride in Tahoes she didnt know. But all the ones I seen were white with black beadlock wheels and tint. They sit in the clearings in between the threes you cant see them until you get close. But in the end I say just ride 75-80mph and youll be ok.

No need to really go that fast, though. Not much faster than 70 and you don't have to worry about the cops.

Those Tahoes you saw were state DOT trucks. They are carrying portable scales for semi-trucks so they can weigh you wherever. They aren't there for passenger cars. Later, QD.

This is true. More police up through GA than TN. But even then, the police presence gets scarce once you get on out of Cobb Co. Later, QD.

don't speed in Kentucky. Seriously.

My family drove from here to Ohio once or twice a year (we're from there) and there were ALWAYS police Terminators sitting near the state line going into Kentucky. At the time I didn't understand the significance of that, but now I know....they DARE you to fuck with them/speed.

Invest in a radar detector maybe? Also, try watching your surroundings usually helps out a lot.

1 no money for a radar detector and 2. I'm always aware of my surrounding when I drive thanks tho....
