your thoughts on a 06 accord with 55k miles 2.4 liter?

I am looking at an o6 accord 2.4 liter i v tech with 55k miles. rumors i have heard that the tranny will start acting up at 65k miles? should i go get the car or blow it off?

auto or manual, if it manual go for it, if it's auto? i dont like honda automatic trannies, from 98 - 02 i know their auto trannies were horrible, i dont know after that
