Ive never really reserved a game, ever, and really had no problem finding it in the store on release day. Think this would be the case for those of us slackers again? Ive got two Best Buys, and three game stops near me tomorrow.

me im with you never reserved a game ever. Ill be at Wal Mart at midnight to try to grab a copy if not im sure best buy will have plenty tomorrow

never seen the point in reserving a game, as stated above, they will be plenty out there. Where also in a pretty bad ression. That will ensure tons left on the shelf...

I reserved it cause I didnt wanna take any chances on it being gone and having to drive around to find it somewhere.

Modern Warfare 2....its the newest Call of Duty game for XBOX/PS3....its good shit if you like shooter games.

Well the only reason why I reserved my copy, because I decided to dish out 150 for the Prestige edition. And the Prestige edition is a limited edition with only 2500 available. I remember I reserved it once the Prestige was available. I went back a couple weeks later, and I was told that it's not available anymore, it was sold out. So maybe you wont have any trouble finding a copy. But it's hard to say since this is the most anticipate game coming out this year? Who knows. Don't hurt to reserve you one, don't cost you extra either you know?

I reserved mine, but from Target. I guess I have to wait till tomorrow to get it bc I doubt they do a midnight release

SOCOM: Confrontation was a PITA to find if you didn't preorder... me and a buddy of mine called all over the state to find it, ended up driving to Franklin, NC to get it.

I'm just going to swing by wal-mart right near my house and see if they have copies tomorrow after work. I was there at 12:10 to pick up forza3 and went the next day and they still had 5 copies left.

Im pretty sure the Gamestop I got mine from sold out....if not VERY close to it. I def did not expect the turn out....LOL still the first one in the door though haahhaah

I just picked up mine at Game Stop on my lunch break. They had a few left. Got a 40 dollar credit for two older games I beat too. W00t Will be online later tonight

Just got it from Gamestop (Athens). No problem there, just a line of highschool kids and their moms who were increasingly hesitant to buy the bloody, drug filled game for their little angels.

Roughly the conversation from the store:
GS dude: "Ma'am, I have to inform you that the game is rated mature because of blood, drug references, intense violence and foul language. Do you still want to buy this for your son?"

Mom: "Wait, drugs? Do you do drugs in the game?"

GS dude: "No, but lots of the bad guys do drugs in the game since part of it takes place in South America."

Mom: "Hmm... Well I guess that's OK."


BTW, no objective study has shown that video games make children violent. Actually, a lot of the studies show that it lessens violent/criminal tendencies because while it is easy to kill people in the game, it also displays how easy it is for you to be killed and games like GTA IV show that illegal actions have real repurcussions.

picked it up from best buy today on my way home from work. Between XBox, PS3 and PC, they had at least 100 copies of it left in the store.

wow. yeah i was at best buy in canton and they are fully stocked with the game in 360 and ps3.
