Sqeaking clutch?

My clutch pedal is making a horrible noise i think i either have contaminated fluid does anyone know what it could be? :rant:

my clutch squeaked for the whole time I had it when it was still functional. but actually the manufacture put the wrong clutch it the box & the person that installed it put it on the shaft & thought it was on tight but it had a little slack so it then rounded out all the splines after a few thousand miles. it squeaked all the time when I engaged from Neutral

No thats not it i have the right clutch.

Not your fluid. Try your throwout bearing and make sure your clutch pedal height is adjusted.

By any chance do you have a Tilton clutch? :lmfao: Cause that would be your problem. Alot of aftermarket clutches can squek especially some of the heavier AWD ones.

I think it has to do with my clutch slave cylinder.

the linkage, i have the same problem, that might be it. i got my dad to test it out for me and he told me thats what it was, it could be fixed with some wd-40

...get under the dash and put a little white lithium grease on the spring and any pivot points of the linkage, sometimes you need to mix it with liquid graphite to thin it some so it will run down into all the tight spots.

The master cylinder doesn't have anything to squeak....hopefully anyways, it's just a plunger inside a cylinder.
