Ok, so I need a pair rear OEM honda shocks. I have a 2000 Honda Civic. I have aftermarket (KYG AGX adjustable gas shocks) but they are blown. I have a lifetime warranty on them, but in order to get them replaced I have to send them in. I don't have the original shocks because I threw them away because they were blown. So basically I just need some shocks to hold me over while I wait for my replacements. If you have any and don't have any use for them please let me have them I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I didn't know where else to put this, but I am not really looking to buy them because I need them for a short period of time. I was hoping that someone wouldn't mind just letting them go. If someone doesn't mind just letting them go I would greatly appreciate it!

Just b/c your female doesn't mean you don't have to pay....

No one is gonna just let these go...people pay good money to put their car back to stock, so giving this away would just be dumb.

$30 is cheap and you obviously need it. probly the best deal you are gonna find locally. Jump on it and don't cheap out on something that carries you safely from pt.A to pt.B.

Never once thought because I am a female that I shouldn't have to pay for anything. I am just basically asking for help because I am in a bind. If no one is willing to help, I will understand. I was just throwing it out there to say at least I tried.

Sry, the way i worded it sounded funny...the female comment was directed more at Famous than you.

If a guy wanted somethin free..no other guy would come in a thread and be a defender like"yo he has no money"...it just wouldn't happen.

G/L and do all the work yourself and save even more money. This is a simple job. Reps for the misunderstanding:D

I was typing on the ps3 controller so I was keeping the message short, but whatever... I told her to just ask around here cause she really dosent need it so why pay for something you dont need ASAP? just that simple....

No problem dude! It happens.
But I've decided to just save my money and just replace my whole system ( shocks and springs). Probably the best bet. Was trying to be "thrifty" I guess, but there is no way around it so I have to suck it up and do what is needed. Reps for understanding!

Obviously she does need it....so why not pay 30 bucks?

Im trying to give her some real world help and advice. You are trying to be her personal thread moderator. That will not help the struts come faster.

30 bucks......not like its 300

Im in the same boat...got a car and the driver side Koni blue was blown to hell. Im just dealing with it now and saving up for new PIC coilovers.

But i have a work truck to daily so that helps as well.

Its hard to be thrifty today, but if i had to, 30 bucks is a good deal and you will have the stock stuff if this problem ever arises again. If need be, you can turn around and re-sell them for $40:) still a good deal at 40

yes, the economy has changed the way i work on my cars...gotta work it to make sure you accomplish your goal but not break the bank.

Technically, you could make 10 bucks off this:)

LOL...no, just speaking from experience and trying to enlighten you to how you could make the stock stuff work FOR you instead of AGAINST you. I try to help as if i were gonna do the job, u know?

If you have the warranty, its the best way to go, especially if money is tight.

Yeah the warranty thing is somewhat an issue because my car is dropped below the required dropped for those shocks so I doubt they will replace them for me without giving me the run around, but like I said I will just save and replace my whole system out of pocket

They won't know unless you have already told them....

G/L on whatever you decide to do.

Have a set from my ej1. I think they'll work. You need fronts or rears? Lmk

I would need both, but don't know if OEM shocks will hold up to the drop that I have on my car. More than likely I need to get some coilovers and then try to replace my shocks. At least that is what I am told. Probably my best bet

Might hold at least till you get shocks back.
