you should switch camera guy to s2k next time. i believe i raced this red s2k in my 02 s2k when i had a CAI only and we were about neck and neck with him having a small lead. i now have a single greddy with test pipe. anyway, nice vid

If youre talking about the pop noise when i shift its not the rev limiter you noob. alot of s2ks make that noise when you shift them at the 2nd blink light on the speedometer. learn your vtak game fool :)

AWD guys love bragging about AWD. The fact is, there are only 20 people on the planet that knows how to get 'em moving properly - and 8 of them died - LOL. It's hands down the hardest to get to launch... then FWD then RWD. Usually in a dig run w/ an AWD drive guy you're hard-pressed to meet the guy that really knows how to get one to dig properly - but they are VERY forgiving w/ the 1 - 2 shift (where high(er) hp FWD cars burn through 2nd, and high(er) hp RWD cars step out sideways).

Im all N/A guys. The bottle was out the car as well. Not trying to talk shit but my car really isnt running as good as it should right now, after i get some maintenance done and a new clutch i'll be more active in the killsforum.

its a evo 8 so they dont come with 2 step, correct me if Im wrong. i do agree it is hard to launch an awd car, this dig run was bullshit i had a terrible launch as well.

Well if you really wanna get technical, than neither does the IX or X. It has a stationary rev limiter programmed in the ECU to protect the transmission and transfercase from being destroyed. Thats why 03 and 04s have the reputation of having a weak drivetrain....because morons dump the clutch at 7k rpm, grenade their shit, then try to get it fixed under warranty. Mitsu had enough and with the introduction of ACD they also added the stationary rev limiter in the 05 VIIIs.
