55 is better than 57 lol. 61 is different, i have never seen a 61 that has been built in this fashion

Comparing a 55 to a 61 is like comparing a Ferrari 250 SWB to a 375 Plus.

Get it?

Why the confused look?

Those are some gorgeous cars. The Bel Air looked pretty good to begin with, so I've definitely got high hopes for the finished product.

Puke Tank!!! nice cars man, i love the lines/shape of the 61. The first car i ever loved was a 63 impala, ever since then i'm :gay: for anything with round taillights!

I like how no one has commented on it having the legendary 572 in it.

A family friend has built a 57 with a 6 speed and a 572. It's hellacious really.

VooDooXII
11-02-2009, 03:11 PM
I sort of expected a 572 to be in there. :dunno:

gpw hatch
11-02-2009, 03:26 PM
Ya 572 should be fun. Its going to be fuel injected and have kinsler cross ram individual throttle bodies. We went with an auto trans on this car cause the nova has a 6 speed and its just a pain to drive with the power from the 427. the 572 would be nearly unmanageable with a 6 speed

It's quite ridiculous.

Lol out of all that fab work you noticed 2 round holes cut into aluminum for speakers?!? Haha car got some free goodies from alpine, 2 12's will be hidden behind the backseats in a seperate compartment from the truck and will have 6 speakers in the interior

quick cell phone pic from the filming of 2 guys garage
its a kinsler manifold based off the manifold the designed for the new lsx motors and custom made one for our 572

its going to be black but were not 100% on the scheme yet. it will have gloss black and satin black. the plan was to keep it a satin black but to much time and money has gone into this car to leave the paint soo subtle.

were in not in jackson, those tags were borrrowd from yearone so we could drive it home before we registered the car
