I need some respectable places to buy parts from. I searched google, but you never know what you're getting that way. Just some places for CIA, exhaust, headers, suspension stuff, etc.....for a E36 M3 BTW.

Check out bimmerforums.com it is the most active bmw forum, and they have TONS of parts for sale every day.

FWIW, I will be boosted within the next 2 months, and will have a Jim conforti chip and carbonio carbon fiber intake for sale.

Is the car a 96+?

Check out raceland headers. They are only $125 and have been proven repeatedly. If you are OBD2 it will throw a check engine light though.

Bimmerforums suck, it's a bunch of BMW fan boys who actually think BMW's are one of the best cars on the road.

Well right now I am trying to get an E36 M3, if I can't get the M3 which newer (00-04ish) 3 series would be my best bet? I want a good ride, still have some performance, and look good.

e46 has the best of all worlds IMO, but is a bit more "soft" than previous generation M cars.

E36 are getting cheap, but alot are beat. I love mine, but the interior is sub par for BMW.

My advice, buy a super clean e36 M3 for that. You will always kick yourself for not buying an M3.

But, that car looks sweet and has a great color.

Also TRM is a good place. And semi-local too.
