ATLANTA DRIFT EXPO - NOV 19TH @ TUNER FIELD

Welcome to the biggest ameatur drifting series around. Our premiere event will be held on Saturday November 19th, 2005 and we hope all the drifting fans will make it out. Everyone who has ever wondered what drifting is we please ask that you come out for the event as well. Admission for the event will be $5 at the gate.

Driver Information
(All drivers that were not in the top 16 for the 2005 Formula D season are welcome to enter.)
Pre Registration- $60
Day of Event- $80

yeah it's awesome in that aspect... but i was the only instructor signed up for the SEDA event :(. oh well, nobody asked for us at the last event anyway. and i'd spend more than $60 driving to Nashville and back.

yea and I got a hotel room and the costs of the event...I guess I need to try to get my money back. Chad called me and I forgot to call him back. That'll be $150 back. Then I'm only down to $250

We will have a press conference at this event. Basically once the 2006 season starts we will start a points system and run a series from that. This event will run exactly like a points event but no points will be given out. I want to use this event to promote and smooth out details. I will have a forum up so all the participants can give me feedback and we can work on changing things to fine tune the series.

I just talked to them since we are thinking of sponsoring it and I think it's from 7-7 ( tech starts at 7 and track is hot at 8:30...but don't quote me on that). They said they will be posting asap. They just wanted to get it out there.

Thank you Tracy. I hope you guys can hope on board for sponsorship soon. That would be great. Yes, the site will get more info soon I promise. I am just very busy tieing up ends on the event. Tech will start at 6am actually and we are going to try and get everyone on the track by 8am.

on another note; why is it that this is event is so much cheaper than the SEDA and DG Trials events?

I actually drove my car very little at SFS2, I was so tired from the night before I went home at like 2 pm, and let Harrison drive my car the rest of the day. When I was driving at SFS2 I wasn't really trying to drift so much as get used to the car getting slung around. I couldn't clutch kick, the car had insane body roll, and power over in a Corolla is damn near an impossibility, unless it's raining and you're doing 10 miles per hour. (not really, the car just doesn't have a lot of power to induce power over)

Were you at Untouchable?
