polishing and boring/honing is just prep work so you are as close to working with a zero mile refinish fresh bore and crank as possible.

how about you just get to nearest dyno?

you should have saved the money and got a zc non vtec cam. its more aggressive over the a6 cam.

with your work, i wouldn't expect much hp/tq out of this. i give a gain of MAYBE 2-3hp. btw, i would have chose a different engine to do the work on.

When you bore an engine and polish the crank this is not really designed to make more power.. This is to get the block and crank back in rebuildable shape. Now there are a small amount of power that will come from this just simply because the cylinders being alittle larger will make the engine alittle bigger.. However the most power is going to be found because after the rebuild you will have a frsh motor versus a 700,000 mile smoke blower.
