Take one part 2010 Camaro and add some ’70s Trans-Am
Given Pontiac’s demise, it’s clear there won’t be any factory-baked Pontiac Trans-Am coming from General Motors. Enter the aftermarket, which has become suddenly eager to serve buyers wanting a new-school T/A. Indeed, joining the conversion kit offered by Phoenix is this Lingenfelter take on turning your brand-new Camaro SS into the modern Trans-Am of your dreams. The concept debuts in the metal at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas.

I love the idea of this. The front end looks good, though the rear end looks awkward.

i wouldnt say awkward.. i would say.. not quite there yet!
i dig it... i think i want to see it lower.. the trans am always had a real low sitting appeal to it. but i love it for what it is!

I saw this...

and I thought this.
Need to see it for real. These pics don't really reflect what the car will look like.
And today, is saw the real thing and knew i was right in not getting excited.
It is nowhere near as proportionally correct as the actual Camaro.
Imo, this is good enough for Chevy to be making.

Ok. So after looking at them, i can see the biggest similarities are the bulging quarters and almost hidden head light and tail sections. There are differences too though. The body line is different on every car. The Camaro and Mustang have a sleeker profile behind the b pillar while the Challanger is much more sedan like.
I can see what you are saying but they are not exactly the same. Just similar on certain ques
