Anyone here ever or is racing karts?

The WKA races are at Road Atlanta this weekend, as usual it always makes me want a kart again. :(

I've ran quite a few, scariest was when I got to do some laps in a superkart, never raced one though, just during a "track day" for karting. Those are no joke. :no:

Sweet! I forgot about Rotax Max, those were quick. :goodjob: I never drove one but they were fun to watch.

andretti is good! but kinda more expensive then malibu, i just dont think a couple laps for 30 bucks is a good deal

What are the local karting clubs, if any? Like who organizes track days? I doubt you can take a kart around at a pdx or hpde

Georgia Sprint Karting...WKA...etc. WKA has lots of track/test days in Charlotte.

I've driven a 250 shifter kart AKA superkart.

They just built a new cart track @ CMP...

Cool. They've been running the full CMP track for some time, road race karts use full road courses such as Daytona, Road Atlanta, VIR, CMP, etc. Sprint karts usually use smaller tracks such as kart tracks at those places or stand alone tracks.
