Anyone watch this on A&E?
It is a show that disguises an intervention by telling the addicts that they are part of a documentary. Towards the end of the show, there is an actual intervention where the addict is given a choice to go to treatment right then and there or else.
It is pretty powerful. It shows true life addictions to everything from alcohol to hard drugs to gambling. It is very raw. I actually used it to show my 11, almost 12, year old daughter what "happens" when you are addicted to drugs and alcohol. She actually watched an entire show with me. I stopped it (Tivo) to explain certain things that are a little over her head right now. I think she got the picture clearly.
It is a cool reality show to see, albeit very sad.
