I'm gonna say rally, with TF drag in a close second.

I picked rally. i thought about picking nascar though due to the fact that all the cars on the track are pretty much evenly matched. Rally racing just has so many different conditions to learn to adapt to and soo many different factors in each race...

F1 or rally. They are very different from eachother but hard as well.

To be a national level autocross guy, i would say takes more skill than a lot of road racing series.

Drifting doesnt really take much skill...

I disagree w/ this part of your post.

Rally dirvers can get it done on any surface. I'd like to see an FI driver do that (and don't mention the IROC competition)

Le Mans as in the series or the 24 hours?

I say close between F1, "Le Mans", and rally.

Drifting requires no skill, just the understanding of physics.

Obviously.

Car-control requires and "understanding" of physics in relation to weight-transfer, car-control - etc. This is no difference in any other form or racing to include drag-racing.

I could say "f1 doesn't require skill - it just requires an understanding of physics" and that's not true. Neither is it true that drifting doesn't require skill.

Drifting is easy if a car is setup for it, maximizing grip in the 90% of other types of races are much harder imo. You have to push up to a limit and stop, drifting, just push past it all you want, and back off as it gets excessive, if you pass it when going for top speed and grip, you lose your line, and are gonig so fast, you end up in a wall. It is MUCH easier for me to drift a turn in autocross and point myself where I want to be, but it's slow and flashy, MUCH harder to milk as much speed as possible out of a turn without going into a time adding slow-line drift.

You're dilluting the argument. You are a drifter. I can tell you "it's easy to play bass, jusy pick it up and play it" why? B/c I have been playing for 15 years. To some1 that does NOT drift, drifting requires skill and know-how - NOT just an understanding of physics. So every physica major in the world is a race-car driver and/or knows how to drift easily. Sweet.
