In complete seriousness.
I have an older yahama golf cart. Its been through HELL and back. I'd like to put a FWD, Honda motor and transmission in it.
Which motor and tranny would be cheap and be enough to push around a big "go-kart" aka golf cart.
I'd like to make the entire back part of the cart, the engine bay. So I could just run the cables to my pedals and switches and just have a turn key project.
I'd like an auto tranny, maybe a D16?
Serious comments preferred.

Tempting. Seems like a low cost project so far lol. I'd be the last person needing a Honda motor in his book, I doubt he'd even ask me.

Cheapest you can find. Even a worn ass d15b2 making 50hp will be stupid fast in a golf cart.

the weight in the rear probably will be an issue, you might have to move the seat forward so you can get the motor in front of the rear axle rather than right on top of it. im sure you have a plan though...
