Yea, I noticed the second picture seemed like it was painted/polished or something but I wasn't sure since it was a rear shot. I say no lip to the wheels, the first picture looks best.

I was actually going to paint the lips yellow, like the old red vipers with yellow wheels, but leave the centers black.
