i went over to a friends dads house today to help him with his '67 mustang fastback drag car (18 years in the making) and we fired it up for the first time today! should be ready for the track in about a month.

specs on the engine are all alum 575CID "hemi" style big block ford, eat your babies big moonyham blower 35% overdriven making 30ish pounds of boost, alcohol injected running a blend of m20 nitromethane, not sure of the compression but i believe its around 13-14 to 1 minimum, funny car style zumi headers. trans is a LENCO 3 speed with reverse, rearend is custom, and sits on a set of 26" MT ET streets :ninja: car is estimated to be around 3,000RWHP.

18 years? I'm not much on the big motors like that, but wouldn't that be old technology motors? oh well, looks bad ass.

yes its old school mechanical fuel injection. only electronics on the car are the ignition system and the gauges.

Trust me, there are more cars in GA that can compete with that thing than you think. It's badass for sure though. 18 years? I can only guess that he is not rich, and that gets mad props from me. Kickass.

well true. it is technically a pro mod, just makes a tad bit more power than a typical blown pro mod.
