I'm hoping they can continue their winning ways again tomorrow afternoon. They're ranked 11 and playing an unranked Virginia (3-3) team that is 2-0 in the conference. GT is 4-1 in the conference so a win over UV would put GT in the top. Alone. Virginia has only played one ranked team and lost.

Go Jackets. Starts at 12 noon. Later, QD.

Seems GT is enjoying a 13-7 halftime lead. Playing a good defensive game against UV. Offense is so-so. Later, QD.

Tech wins 34-9. First time winning in Virginia since 1990. 7-1 now and in first place in the Coastal ACC. Two 100 yard rushers and Nesbitt at 80+.

They have Vandy next week, lolol. Later, QD.

This might help them crack the Top 10 at least for now. Later, QD.

It was a great game! The wife and I are in charlottesville right now and are absolutely drenched from the game. It rained the entire time and we couldn't bring our umbrella in!

Game was semi-sloppy, the offense did a pretty good job today and the defense did great in the red zone all day

As a GT grad I am glad to finally see an ACC championship in the future. Now florida needs to loose and clemson needs to win and were golden.

Miami lost, so we are at the top of the ACC all by ourselves! GT controls their own fate now!

GT would have been at the top anyway, yes? Before today, GT was 4-1 in conference and Miami was 2-1. I saw the standings on ESPN and GT was on top before the beginning of the day. Later, QD.

Only because of the amount of conference games we played. Now we can "officially" say we are on top since we have own the tiebreaker with both of the other 1 lost teams in our side of the ACC. :goodjob:

With Vandy, WWF and Duke as their next three games, I see no reason why Tech can't head over to Bobby Dodd to face UGA with a 10-1 record. Later, QD.

I want to believe that soooo bad, but Vandy is know to upset top ranks SEC teams every year, so you can't really take them lightly. Also, Duke is having a "good" season this year, and they need every win they can get to get in a bowl game. So they might be a challenge if they continue to put up 500 yards of offense. Wake Forest, I think they may be the easiest of the bunch.

I got my fingers crossed.
