So Chuck just got his car back yesterday after it being in the shop for about 3 months from an accident he was in on 285. What's the longest you have been without your car, whether it be from an accident, or just work in a shop, etc...

Just curious :D

Longest for my car is probably about 2-3 weeks after getting into an accident.

I have had a car sitting at a shop for a year. And have had plenty of 4,5,6 month stretches as well.

I've only had to repossess my car from 1 shop. Showed up w/ my Bravada, trailer, and my Gloc 23

From May to September.

And once I get I leave at the end of the month, it'll be November to May.

*sigh*

ahahahahah actually, bing would take the cake on the longest. his vette has been at a shop for about 4-5 years or longer and still no where near completion. its really sad how some shops operate.

2 weeks or so. Stuff was being shipped from Germany. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life!!

4 months...had to wait for JDM tyte shit to ship from the motherland...

no but serious when I had my accident a while back it was in the shop for 3 months, then out for a week then back in for another month out for a week then went back again for another month. Literally 6 months in the shop with 2-3 weeks of driving time in between each visit. sucked, but was worth it in the long run

Its actually about to go back in soon, time for some more shit.

Since I bought my supra I only put 2000 miles because I had to drive it here to GA from CA and I ONLY put about 300 miles of joy ride [going to places that I want to go] but yea losing the tuning on the supra cause someone erase the tuning map ::sigh:: and she is still down waiting for a head gasket and re-tune.

When I wrecked my Srt-4 back in 06 it was down for two months at the body shop, then I had some engine work done took about a month.

I work for a Chevy dealership.....with all the cars/trucks that come in on a daily basis, it gets kinda hard to get em all out on time. I have a 04 Duramax diesel sitting in my flat stall waiting for head gaskets, and injectors. been there since july, fucking GM. And I hate when people get so worked up...."Y'all said itd be ready ect" it aint our fault you fucked it up or we can't make GM get us our parts here on time.
