Can anyone recommend a GPS locator that just flat out works like my dependable honda, lol. Plus it needs to able to alert you immediately, when people flat bed your car away...does a product like this exist currently?

Well, there's LoJack. Also, it would be pretty tough for something to alert you immediately unless it triggered the alarm.

You can also set a timer, ie 11pm to 7am, so if the car moves during that time you will get alerted.

Depending on the alarm system you have and it's capabilities you can set the GPS setup to remote unlock from your computer or even starter kill...like OnStar.

Can you name the specific brand / product that offers this? Would like to read up on it....

I looked into zoombak, and other gps locators but they just don't seem to offer what i'm looking for. (I.E. reliability, cost, total package, etc.) You would think DEI, with it's dominating market presence would R & D, such a product but i guess all in due time. I have a Viper 791xv, but hey i'm always looking to see what is out there....

Lowjack appears to be ok...but i don't think it offers immediate notification when vehicle is flat bed away... someone correct me if i'm wrong. The key i believe is instant notifcation with gps locator. That way you have a fighting chance to retrieve your vehicle back and not find it days later stripped like a SOB....

If we didn't have people stealing and flat bed cars away there wouldn't be a need for these types of measures.....
Obviously, keeping you pride and joy in the garage is a sure win but your gonna want to pull it out sooner or later...:goodjob:

Also there are alarm systems that vibrate and take pictures withing 20sec. of someone entering your car. When it is armed then it sends the picture to your 2way monitor of them. You just gotta look for the good shit because it is out there.
