Slipknot is terrible, and it makes me sick they are associated with metal.

I'm actually a fan of Corey's original band Stone Sour. I do like Slipknot. Talent wise they do not suck. Corey is a monster vocalist, Joey is a monster drummer. I will say Slipknot before Corey sucked hard. Needless to say I guess I'm just a Corey Taylor fan in general.

what slipknot before corey? corey has always been in slipknot since they formed along with the other 9.joey and a few others went into the porn shop corey was workin and said hey dude wanna be in our band...lol

and stone sour is great but they were a side project for corey taylorafter 2 albums by slipknot, i see slipknot coming to an end and stone sour staying a good long while. slipknot oh how i will miss tha knot

Slipknot is bad ass, most of the people on ia listen rap or some other form of garbage. So dont listen to them.

They put on one hell of a good concert, especially with joey's drum solo. that was one sight I'll never forget.

Actually iirc Slipknot formed from another band and actually made one if not two independent albums before playing some shows along side Stone Sour which is how they met Corey. I actually have one of their pre Corey albums. Stone Sour has been around since like 92 or 93. I will do some research on it.

I like Slipknot. Always have since I was like 12. Eh Stone Sour is to emo sounding for me tho. I mostly prefer their older stuff. IMO, the newer Slipknot sounds to bland and starts getting into that generic sound that most rock or real heavy bands are doing. In other words, it's starting to sound alike. I mean hell, I even have the newest Joey Jordison drum set, even though i didn't ppay the $2000 and something price list for it. I only paid $800, still a great set once you replace all the batter heads and the reso heads. However, I did keep the Slipknot bass drum heads.

I've always liked Slipknot and Stone Sour. Liked the earlier Slipknot stuff more. Now it blends too much into Stone Sour's sound IMO. I don't think either are anything great in the Metal world or anything, but I like em'.

I listen to real rock. Not some guys that need costumes to get attention.

slip knot is not rock and not for the closed minded,the costumes were not for attention,they started as a joke by one member he kept wearing them to practice and gigs and soon eveyone else in the band did it,in interviews they will tell you how much they hate the masks. its not for attention its for show,something they really do well. watch a clip of the show they had a the arena earlier this year. well enjoy your real rock what ever the hell that means
