got a question need some help Ive got a chipped p28 in my 91 DA with a 95 turbo GSR motor in it thinkin bout puttina p72 back in it but ive heard the p28 ecu is a better ecu to have even after the p72 is tuned just looking to see what would be a better choice keep in mind i will be gettin either and or both tuned here in the near future any info on fuel maps, fuel mixture rev limits etc would behelpful in my decision

if the p28 is tuned for your set up then leave it in.

A good tune will not care what case its in... If Im not mistaken I think the p28 is not setup for a knock sensor... But with a good tune this wouldn't be an issue...

i think u need to go to the p72 the p28 does NOT work with a knock sensor and is very important

Knock sensor doesn't even fucking matter, its just the moron light basically. Don't put cheap gas in it and it doesn't matter. The factory knock system stops after 5k anyways. There is just too much noise in there for it to pick up knock. and some people have the wrong idea of what knock is being picked up. P28's don't read for knock b/c they don't have a knock board inside.

It doesn't matter what ecu you run. You can chip either the p28 or the p75 for your setup and overlook the knock and or the o2 sensor. I'm running a chipped p75 on my boosted integ with no o2 or knock and no CEL's most iimportantly.
